When the pulse hits the surface of the material, it is reflected back and received by the receiver in the meter, and the distance signal is converted into a level signal.
Radar level gauges transmit extremely short microwave pulses with very low energy through an antenna system and receive them. Radar waves travel at the speed of light. The running time can be converted into a level signal by electronic components. A special time extension method can ensure stable and stable measurement in a very short time.
Even if the working conditions are more complicated and there are false echoes, the new micro-processing technology and debugging software can accurately analyze the level echoes.
The antenna receives the reflected microwave pulse and transmits it to the electronic circuit. The microprocessor processes the signal and recognizes the echo generated by the micropulse on the surface of the material. The correct echo signal recognition is completed by intelligent software, and the accuracy can reach millimeter level. The distance D from the surface of the material is proportional to the time travel T of the pulse:

Application medium:

Precautions:
1: The measurement range is calculated from the point where the beam touches the tank low, but in special cases, if the tank bottom is concave or tapered, the measurement cannot be performed when the level is below this point.
2: If the medium has a low dielectric constant, when it is at a low liquid level, the bottom of the tank is visible. At this time, in order to ensure the measurement accuracy, it is recommended to set the zero point at a low height of C.
3: It is theoretically possible to measure the position of the antenna tip, but considering the effects of corrosion and adhesion, the final value of the measurement range should be at least 100mm from the antenna tip.
4: For overflow protection, a safety distance can be defined to be attached to the blind zone.
5: The smaller measurement range is related to the antenna.
Radar level gauge installation requirements:
1. Recommended distance (1) from the wall to the outer wall of the short pipe.
2. The tank diameter is 1/6 of the tank diameter, and the smaller distance is 200mm.
